City Planning Master Plan Revision Underway

This meeting is being held due to a request to re-open the public hearing to consider requiring large land users to do a master plan and consider residential density as part of the proposed amendments to Chapter 4.5 Master Planning and Development Alternatives.

Date: Monday, February 13,  at 5:30 PM,
Location: 710 NW Wall Street and a public hearing before the Bend City Council on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 7 PM, 710 NW Wall Street. 


The Master Plan update will have a bearing on all large acreage property within the City Limits which potentially includes OSU-Cascades and all the new property brought into the City Limits as part of the UGB initiative.

Neighborhood meetings set for February to discuss 1-mile section of Upper Deschutes State Scenic Waterway 

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is hosting a CWNA neighborhood forum (see date below) to get input from CWNA residents regarding the 1-mile stretch of the Upper Deschutes State Scenic Waterway that rests within the Bend Urban Growth Boundary on the southwest side of town. 

Date: Thursday, February 16,  Time: 6:30 -- 8:00 pm 
Location: Cascade Middle School (Cafeteria), 19619 Mountaineer Way, Bend, OR 97702 


Bend Neighborhood Coalition to make presentation to give input for City Council Goat Setting Process

Date: February 17,  Time 3:00-5:00pm
Event: Bend City Council Meeting


Wondering who Bend Neighborhood Coalition is? Here is their mission statement: 

1) Address underlying policy issues that contribute to threats to neighborhood livability by
proposing constructive solutions based on research on best practices in other cities.
2) Advise and support fellow residents on how best to address their concerns.
3) Create an ongoing civic dialog on neighborhood livability.

 Date: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21
