Vision Statement: NART is a catalyst for encouraging an ongoing sense of civic responsibility.
The Mission of NART is to provide a forum and to encourage a collaborative process where the Neighborhood Associations (NAs) can discuss and act upon core issues which impact the livability of Bend.

This is accomplished by:
  1. Establishing a proactive and outcome-oriented communication between the City of Bend and NART. 
  2. Adopting positions on Core Issues, as agreed upon, in order to provide increased emphasis to City Council, City Staff and the community of Bend.

Bend Street Maintenance Season is Winding Down - Check Out These Impressive Stats!

Yes, it has been a busy summer and street maintenance happened all over town. Here are the stats:

  • Slurry Seals: 56 lane miles
  • Chip Seals: 15 lane miles
  • Overlays: 23 miles
During this 2017 construction season, they City’s Streets and Operations Department preserved 94 lane miles of pavement:

NOTICE OF PENDING ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW.
Applicant/Owner Western Communications Inc have requested a Type II Modification of
the original Site Plan Approval to reconfigure a parking lot in the Limited Commercial
Zone (CL). The applicant is requesting approval to modify Condition # 11 of the Site
Plan approval decision 98-333 in order to reconfigure the Bulletin parking area.
The applicant proposes to modify Condition # 11 of the approval by eliminating 95
parking spaces located in the southwestern portion of the property and relocating 20 of
these parking spaces near the north end of the property for a total of 136 parking
spaces. The applicant is not proposing any changes to the existing building and no new
development is proposed within the area where the parking will be eliminated.

City of Bend Seeking Applicants for Citywide Transportation Advisory Committee
The City is seeking applicants for the Citywide Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC), to ensure citizen input is incorporated into transportation planning efforts. The CTAC will help shape updates and provide recommendations to Council regarding a transportation vision, goals and polices, sustainable funding strategies, and project priorities.
​
The committee will be comprised of 20-30 people with broad geographic and socioeconomic representation. Applicants must be residents within the City of Bend’s Urban Growth Boundary. The City of Bend is looking for a wide range of collaborative, solution-oriented participants. The membership will consist of members of Neighborhood Associations, non-profit organizations, business organizations, and citizens at large with an interest and background in a variety of subjects such as:

Notification of Public Meeting. Broken

TopGold Ring LLC proposes to subdivide lots #18-11-01-DO-11500 into 6 single-family residential lots. The 2.7-acre parcel is currently occupied by the Broken Top Club pool facility, pickle ball courts and tennis courts located to the north of Metolius Drive, west of Mt Washington Drive, east of Bridge Creek Drive, and south of Broken Top Drive. A brief presentation of the proposed development will be made at the Public Meeting to be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at 6-7:00 PM at the Broken Top Club, 62000 Broken Top Drive.
